DSIP 5mg and 15mg: A Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide

DSIP stands for Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide. It's a small peptide, nine amino acids long. Scientists first found it back in 1977. They pulled it from cerebral venous blood in sleeping rabbits.

Research use only. Strictly for labs. Not for people. Not for animals.

Quick Facts

Name: DSIP
Sequence: Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu
Formula: C35H48N10O15
Weight: about 848.81 g/mol
CAS number: 62568-57-4
Look: White lyophilized powder, soluble in water

What Makes It Different

DSIP is amphiphilic. That means part of it attracts water, part of it repels water. There's a tryptophan piece at one end that gives it a specific UV signature, useful for lab identification. Researchers have also found DSIP in the hypothalamus, limbic system, and pituitary gland in animal models.

What Labs Study It For

Researchers use DSIP to look at:

Sleep related signaling pathways
Stress response and adaptive behavior, in animal models
Circadian rhythm research
Neuroendocrine regulation
Structure activity work on small nonapeptides

Some labs also pair DSIP with LL-37, especially when comparing different small peptide classes across signaling and structural research.

Regulatory Status

The FDA hasn't approved DSIP for treating anything. It's sold strictly as a research compound.

Legal and Safety Info

Not a supplement, just a raw research compound. Keep away from kids. Long term safety data is limited, so only trained lab personnel should handle this.

Buying this means agreeing to use it legally, for research only.
